Someone has to close the gap between the big idea and the working product, and that means understanding both sides well enough to make real decisions, not just translate requirements.
I think in systems — not just code, but how people, process, and technology fit together. The projects I'm proudest of are the ones where the technical choices shaped the strategy, not just served it.
